Israeli strikes targeted Interior Ministry and police headquarters in the Gaza Strip, Hamas security sources said on Friday.
Hamas said the casualties were all civilians, including women and children.
Palestinian medical officials said the wounded were being treated at al-Shifaa and al-Quds hospitals.
Local witnesses said the four-story building of the Interior Ministry was flattened by the blast.
Israel had earlier sealed all border crossings with the Gaza Strip on Friday, cutting off the flow of vital supplies to the besieged territory.
More than forty Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air and ground assaults since Tuesday.
The Zionist regime has stepped up its pressures against Palestinians since the takeover of the Gaza Strip by Hamas in June in a bid to force the resistance movement into recognizing Israel.
